Rachel Ladybug

A new insect has been discovered. It is called the Rachel Ladybug named after me. This ladybug is black and red. It looks like a beetle. It has 6 legs, 2 wings and 2 eyes. It moves like a bug and it will fly high in the air. I found it on the grass. It looked cute and I kept it. It lays eggs. It eat leaves. Now you know about the new Rachel Ladybug!

We learned about ain- family words. My word is rain. It rains at night a lot so I go outside to play and I find earth worms. They are slimy.

Waxworm

The waxworm was tickling my hand. It was nasty to touch. It had hair on it and it was green.

We are learning about insects. Insects are important. They make food for us, and are food for other animals. They make clothing.
